    Hi,

    Thanks for contacting us.

I hope you are reffering to backing up the submissions so that they are not altered.

Apart from the submissions sent to the email Id set, you can also download the submissions to excel, cvs or even pdf. You can also have your forms intergrated to google spreadsheet to that each time a form is submitted the spreadsheet is updated hence creating the back up.

For guidelines on how to achieve all these please go through the user guide articles provided below:

    hi,
    thanks for your reply....
to be clear or even more clear, (not sure of proper grammar) I am not using the forms to acquire submissions,,, I am using your program to design forms for my web site, I need to design over 200 forms.... then programmers will view the forms and duplicate them into a web site...

so my biggest concern is when some one else starts poking around in the jotform pages to view these forms, they are altered, deleted or whatever,,, I need some back up "just in case"

so is there a way for me to back up the original forms, so if they are deleted or altered I will have it to put back....
so,,, I am NOT referring to the submissions,, the forms themselves......

thanks in advance for your input....

    Jack

    Hi,

perhaps the best solution to your needs is by creating a new folder "name_of_backup_folder"  , and first  you should clone and then move the cloned version of the form to the new created folder by dragging  with your mouse or clicking on the "Folders" button at the top menu,  you will have then a backup cloned form from each of your designs

    Hope it helps

please let us know if you need further assistance

    Hello,

May I suggest that you let them know that they can simply create a clone of your work.

In this way, they just need the URL of your form and your forms are untouchable. Because they will just clone it.

You just need to instruct them on how to clone a form and let them create an account with jotform.

Here's the instruction on how they/you can create a clone using just the URL of the Form.

    1. Copy the URL of the form that needs to be cloned

    2. Log into your target account

    3. Click on "Create Form"

    4. Click on "Import Form"

    5. Click on "From a Web Page" and paste the form URL

    6. Click Continue and your form should be cloned.

Kindly let us know if you need further assistance.
    Thank you for using JotForm.

Forms are stored within your account, online, unfortunately you cannot export them to a flash drive.

As Khrisell mentioned above, the best way to keep your forms intact is for programmers to have their own jotform accounts, provide them a list of your available FormID's and let them clone the forms over to their accounts. That will leave your forms intact and they can play around with the cloned forms they got from you.

Do let us know if you need further assistance. Thanks again for using JotForm.

Hi, I have the same problem, but a little bit different. A few of our staff are using the same account to create forms, I created backup folders to keep the clones, but still everybody can see my clones as well, and might click around to make a mess. if there is no way to export and backup the forms, is there any method for me to hide a folder, or to assign it to been seen only by me? so at least other staff who don't this feature, won't accidentally delete or modify my work. Thank  you!
