I cannot believe how many people need/want this function: to be able to import data from one field into another. Why isn't JF making this happen??

    Hello @lrosenberg,

Our apologies for any confusion that may have been caused by the user guide Prepopulating-Fields-to-Your-JotForm-via-URL-Parameters. However, please note that the requirement you are asking for is already possible in JotForm

If you are looking to copy the value of one field into another field on the same form, then all you will need to do is set up a Form Condition to copy the field value into the other field.

It is also possible to pass the data from one form field into the field of another form. The user guide mentioned above shows you how to use URL parameters to pass data between forms.

Here are a couple of sample forms that mimic the functionalities mentioned above for reference. Feel free to clone the forms for yourself to see how you can accomplish this.

COY FIELD VALUES FORM - https://form.jotform.com/202595191884061
