I have a form integrated with Dropbox.

Asked by Lewis C. on May 16, 2011 at 04:51 PM

I have a form integrated with Dropbox.

Working fine until last week... Now all forms submitted are files broken in adobe acrobat when opened.

The error message reads:  Acrobat could not open '*.submission.pdf' because it is either not a supported file type or becasue the file has been damaged (for example, it was sent as an email attachment and wasn't correctly decoded.)

The data is however being captured on the submissions page of the form.

    Thanks,

Today the form opens from the dropbox integrattion without error in Acrobat pdf.

New issue:  the data emailed on my copy email is received in text format with some of the fields

mapped incorrectly - only by a line; some of the lines are blank when they shouldn't be.

But again the data is all good in the spreadsheet on the submissions page.

Having the text mapped correctly just saves me the trouble of having to transpose the data in excel.

    Hello Lewis,

Can you provide a screenshot of this issue?

If you have edited your form on a later date such as replacing fields, this might have not updated the email notification properly.  To do a quick fix, you might want to delete your email notification and creating a new one.

Let us know if you're experiencing problems after implementing this.

    Thanks.

This problem should be fixed now. It was only happening for some submissions but all should be ok now.

The same thing is happening to me as was happening to Lewis C: using acrobat to open the forms submitted to dropbox is impossible because of the error message in the screen shot above.
