How do I limit quantity of certain options?

    I work at an Arts Center and we offer schools the opportunity to come to the Arts Center on a field trip.  We have a select number of days available and are able to accomodate one class per day.  Once someone selects a certain day I would like to be able to have that day automatically removed or disabled.  We currently ask for four different dates to safeguard against double booking.  This obviously is not ideal.

    I am sorry to inform you, but mentioned feature is not yet implemented. I have attached one more feature request ticket to this thread and escalated it to our Development Team. We will let you know once that option is available.

    In the meantime, you may consider using something like this:

    In my example, I have set an Unique Question to the Date field, so that the form will not accept the same date twice.

    Changed the standard warning message about the unique field.

    (that message is showing upon submission for 'duplicated' dates)

    Then, added an HTML Table Listing Report to the form.

    And embedded created report to the live form.

    well I jumped the gun.  In you example you have made a date field that is only one field/text box as apposed to a text box for month, one for day, one for year. and you have the callender pop-up next to it.  how do i make this?

    Hi

    Unfortunatelly, you cannot achieve the limit or uniqueness to disable the available options if you separate Days, Month, Year to different textboxes.

    It is because the Unique Question feature is applicable to one field at a time only. You cannot use the unique question in a combination of field.

     

    This is the reason why Mike_T's demo form is setup in such way. (the Month/Day is in a single textbox)

    This feature was also already submitted to our development team for approval. 

    We will have to wait for feedback from them.
