Why am I getting an error - payment form on website to Authorize.net?Asked by natsal on August 22, 2013 at 03:31 PM
To whom this may concern,
I am trying to setup a payment eform on our website. The payment form is linked to Authorize.net, a payment form option on your Jotform.com website/service. I included the necessary API and Transaction Key required towards this eform. I ran a test on our website using this embedded script eform, and I get an error message:Error during transactionThe merchant login ID or password is invalid or the account is inactive.
Please go back and fix thisDetails: 3|2|13|The merchant login ID or password is invalid or the account is inactive.||P|0|||8.00||auth_capture||||||||||||||||||||||||||3E522624B804AEBAAF95C93B16436378||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||Is this error on the eform = Jotform.com end, or on the Authorize.net end? It looks like your Merchant ID is incorrect or your Authorize.net account might be inactive.
Please double chekc with Authorize.net support and get if possible a new API key and transaction key for your account
if the problem persists after doing those steps, please let us know
