I've looked on the forum for possible ways to make a gift certificate. I've placed a table in the email response and used a background image as the certificate. It shows up in the email program (also on gmail), but when I print, it doesn't show.
I can't ask my visitors to use a certain program so I am wondering if there is another way to do this as it looks like it won't work this way.

So far base on my research, Gmail doesn't support image background on print. It will be stripped off. I'd suggest to use any of our email integrations instead and setup the formatted email there. That might help. The best example are campaign monitor, madmimi or mailchimp. Instead of using JotForm Notification, you may create the notification to these email service instead and use it to send formatted email notifications to your clients.

Thanks for the reply Elton. Let me ask a followup if I may. If I pass the email to mailchimp and have mailchimp send the formatted email, then how can I also pass to mailchimp the name and unique ID that the form generated.
You see, for my gift certificate I would like to inject their name and the unique ID code onto the image that they will print out.
Is that possible to transfer form values into mailchimp?

You should be able to map the Unique ID field to MailChimp Fields. You can use MailChimp Text Box field.
I would also suggest creating a separate thread for this inquiry. Start here: http://www.jotform.com/answers/answer.php?. This way, we can assist you better and can provide further details, if needed.
