How does the updates collected on form 2 get matched to the specific familiy line that was created on the first spreadsheet?

Question: As I think through our process. 1) We collect our contact information on one jotform. This also included enough details so that we could generate a student invoice.
We collect additional information (another jotform) about the details about each student and the class the child(ren) in which they would like to register for. This is done several months later. Is there a way/how does the updates collected on form 2 get matched to the specific familiy line that was created on the first spreadsheet? If we can do this, it would save a lot of time and duplicate effort. I haven't tested this function yet, so perhaps it will be obvious. Thanks in advance.

The data matching can be done through google sheet formula. Jotform will only send the data into your sheet and you have an option to send data to the same sheet.

Please note that it will create a new sheet for each form that you integrate with your google sheet.

If you are looking of combining both sheets data, there are plenty of guides on that discuss this.
