Hi
I have 1 main form that has 4 sub-forms and I need an email to transfer from the main form to be the 4 sub-forms so that when the sub-forms are submitted, they are automatically email to the email listed in the main form. I have put the unique name in the subforms email field but it does not appear to be entering the email information.
thanks,
Jill

Hi Jill,
As I understand, you want to pass the email address entered on the main form to the sub-forms, so that autoresponder emails of sub-forms will automatically send email notifications to the same email.
If that's a case, you can simply use email fields on the sub-forms as well. If you don't want to show it to the user on sub-forms, you can also hide that field.
So, once the main form would be submitted, you can prepopulate sub-form with the value of the email field of the main form:
You can test this demo form and submit it with your email address, so as you will check, sub-form will send an email notification to that email:

Please let us know if you are referring to something else.
Thank you!

Hi
The second form is being completed by a different individual so I need to include it in the auto email but I already have a unique id being duplicated in the link - https://form.jotform.com/202516353604044?uniqueId14={uniqueId}
So how do I duplicate more than 1 field to have it included in the auto email sent to the individual who is completing the form.
Thanks,
Jill

You can edit the template of the Auto-responder following the guide below.
Related guide: How-to-edit-the-email-template-for-notifications-and-autoresponders
Please give it a try and let us know how it goes.

I know how to edit the email template, the question I am asking is how I put the duplicate field email={email) into the link in the email when there is already a duplicate field in it (See below)
https://form.jotform.com/202516353604044?uniqueId14={uniqueId
for example do I just add email={email) at the end, or do I put a comma or do I put a ?

I'm not sure I fully understand your concern.
Are you saying that what you're after is prepopulating form fields via URL Parameters?
Also, I would like to recommend that you take a look at our Populate App which you can use to generate prepopulated form URLs:
https://prepopulate.jotform.io
Related guide: Prepopulating-Fields-to-Your-JotForm-via-URL-Parameters
If I, in any way, have misunderstood your concern, I will be more than happy to assist you further.

As per the first message in the feed, I have 1 main form that has 4 sub-forms and I need an 2 fields to transfer from the main form to be the 4 sub-forms so that when the sub-forms are submitted. I do not want the entire which is over a 100 fields to be populated, just 2.
I have already done with the unique id as per instructed by jotform support and it is included as an email link (e.g. https://form.jotform.com/202516353604044?uniqueId14={uniqueId}) in the email that gets sent to the person who completes the subform. But I also need the one of the email fields in the main form to also automatically be transferred into the sub-from. So, I need the unique ID and the an email address to be put in the subform from the main form so that an auto email from the sub form can be sent and includes the unique ID.
Does that make sense?

Hi Jill,
We apologize for the confusion.
You can prepopulate value for the email field as well by adding the following part at the end of your existing link:
https://form.jotform.com/202516353604044?uniqueId14={uniqueId}&email={unique name here}
You should replace "unique name here" text with the unique name of your email field on the main form. Here's a guide on how you can find that:
https://www.jotform.com/help/146-how-to-find-field-ids-and-names
You can also provide the link of the main form and link of the sub-form which you want to be prepopulated using the link from your email notification, so I'll provide direct link you can use.
Thank you!

Hi Jill,
I've checked your form and it is a lengthy form with lots of conditions and many autoresponder emails. Can you please explain the complete workflow of your form? Also which Autoresponder email is set up for which subform and how that email field is getting filled.
You also have the option to clear the hidden fields enabled when a form is submitted.
Looking forward to your reply.
Thanks.

Here is the information regarding the emails that are in the main form:
Main Form: Incident Report form - Field 10. Supervisor (or individual incident report to Email) is the email that needs to go into each of the sub-forms as this is the individual who get each of the sub-forms if they have been completed. Unique Name: supervisoror1055

Pet First Aid Sub-Form Emails(2): Veterinary Treatment Statement: Email Field 421, Pet First Aid Statement: Email Field 418
Unique Name of email in sub-form: supervisoror
Bite Severity Sub-Form Emails(2): Bite Assessor Statement (Injury to Individual): Email Field 97 and Bite Assessor Statement (Injury to Animal): Email Field 143

I am not sure what you mean by have the option to clear the hidden fields enabled when a form is submitted?

Hi,
I've checked, created cloned versions of your forms and these are the links you can use in email notifications for prepopulating sub-forms:
First Aid: https://form.jotform.com/202516262384048?uniqueId13={uniqueId}&supervisorEmail={supervisoror1055}
Pet First Aid: https://form.jotform.com/202516165305043?uniqueId14={uniqueId}&supervisoror={supervisoror1055}
Witness: https://form.jotform.com/202516353604044?uniqueId14={uniqueId}&supervisorEmail={supervisoror1055}
Bite Severity: https://form.jotform.com/202516772840051?uniqueId14={uniqueId}&supervisorEmail={supervisoror1055}
I recommend to copy those links from this page:
Here's my demo main form which you can submit only with supervisor's email field filled with your email address to test:
https://form.jotform.com/202786982569980
You should receive email notification with all the 4 demo forms prepopulated links.
Please also note that you should put those links in your email notifications as shown below:
Please give a try and let us know if you need further assistance.
Thank you!
