Name stuck email notifications

    Hi,

    On my form submissions, the same person's name keeps on coming up and yet they submissions are from different people. Can you tell us how we can correct this. I am attaching an image. Thank you.1601317409 5f722a21da4cf Jot Form Five Screenshot 10ank you.

    I checked your form and the notification is configured correctly. Could you let us know if we can send a test submission to the form to test it from our end?

    I submitted the Form, and received the confirmation.

    The name should be John Smith...
    Let us know what it says on your end.

    It comes from Neda Navab though it has John Smith on the form.

    Hello,

    Do you know a Neda Navab?

    It seems that macs sometimes get confused with the contacs.

    I found this article online: the-wrong-name-appears-attached-to-my-email-somehow-mail-thinks-my-email-belong
    Maybe try looking through your contacts if Neda is somehow connected in there to a jotform email.

    You could also try and set a different "Sender Address" how-to-add-a-custom-sender-address-to-an-email-alert

    Neda Navab is a contact. She is the first person to use it. Now all jotform communication, including from you, comes in and is filed in her name.
    I looked in contact and all was good. I shut down my computer twice. No help.
    If you think it is the original settings, then it should go back to my VA.

    Please try these:

    1. Try to delete your current notification and then create a new one: Setting-up-Email-Notifications
    2. Try to change the email subject for your notification (see screenshot below how)

    3. If the issue persists, please try to change the recipient to a Gmail address and see what the subject of the email in google mail is.
