    Adding FTML code to Facebook

Asked by carigennarelli on May 17, 2011 at 01:57 PM

The format for adding code to Facebook has changed. I edited my form and went to copy the new code and the process has changed. All the tutorials say to look for a Share button, then click advanced options. The share button now says Embed and when I click it there isn't an Advance Options button option.

I tried all the other possible codes, source code, embed code for FB and none work. I even tried a fix by replacing part of the code and I get the form but it's not  formatted correctly and the fix just added another submit button.

    Help!

I tried the code for Facebook and nothing comes up. What happened to the Advanced Options tab with the specific code for Facebook?

Also, when I edit my form do I need to copy and past a new code into Facebook and other sites?

    Hi,

FBML is now deprecated and is receiving little, if none, support from Facebook. iFrames is now the way to go when embedding forms in your Facebook pages.

Refer to user guides below to be able to display your forms using either TabPress (a pre-made iframe app) or your own custom application.

Add Form to Facebook Using TabPress

Add Form to Facebook Using Your Own Custom iFrame App

Hope you find those guides useful. Let us know if you encounter any problems.
