How do subusers work?

One of my coworkers purchased a paid account and added me as a sub-user by adding me to a folder. However, I do not seem to have the benefits of the purchased plan, I am still seeing the options for the free plan (100 submissions, etc.). Is this how sub-users are supposed to work?

UPDATE: Effective October 2018 the Sub-User feature has been discontinued and is no longer available for creating new sub-users. If you had been using this feature previously, you're grandfathered.

If you would like to have additional users added to your account, please check out JotForm Enterprise.

    Thanks for contacting us.

Let me inform you that as a subuser you won't be able to have the same benefits the parent account has as paid account. The privileges you have as sub user is to access to the forms and submissions of the parent account. So, in other words sub user accounts are only to share forms and to give access to submissions and not to have the same benefits.

You can refer this guide to know how to use Sub user accounts:

I hope this helps. Don't hesitate to contact us if you need further assistance on this topic.
