using custom domains successfully, is there any way to not show jotform homepage on subdomain of cname?Asked by oseo5510 on August 26, 2013 at 11:56 PM
so we successfully created this http://webforms.sourapplerepair.com/ which once gets a /form/formid after it works like a charm and instantly displays the form embedded.
however, the webforms.sourapplerepair.com will result in jotform homepage being show and i just want to know if there is any way to prevent this, ie, just show the forms and show a blank page or nothing or an error or anything but jotform homepage on that cname subdomain.
That's how CNAME works for custom.jotform2.com since your custom domain has to catch JotForm so the custom URL could work. e.g. form.website.com to custom.jotform2.com, masking JotForm custom domain, you can start pointing any forms using your custom URL.
Is there anyway you can create a sub-domain for webforms.sourapplerepair.com and do a redirect? I'm not sure how to configure that in your cpanel but I think it's possible. Check if the guide above helps.
Let us know your findings. Thanks!
