This article really discusses showing one field based on multiple rules. What I want is to show multiple fields based on one rule.
I created a questionnaire that asked how many children a person has and based on the answer (1 through 4), it opened a form collapse with either one child, two children, three children or four children. I wanted to simplify it so that if a person selects one child, one form collapse shows, but if they select three children, the the "one child," "second child," and "third child" form collapses ALL open. This will allow me to only have four sets of questions relating to the children rather than the 10 I needed before.
Unfortunately, when I select two, three, or four children, only that one form collapse opens even though my "conditions" rule says that if a person selects, for example, four children, all of them should open.
Can you help? It seems as if the condition setup allows you to do exactly what I need.
Thanks.

Hi,
Please test this form http://www.jotform.co/form/32437588713866
I have setup the condition like this
Is this how you wanted it done?
Please inform us if you need further assistance.
Thanks.

bleonard8Answered on September 01, 2013 07:53 PMThat seems to work, but only if the answers are numbers. I would like to
do it under other conditions. I cloned a form and changed it to do what I
want. Please see: http://form.jotform.us/form/32437223314142. The Number
of Children question is under Case Information. The conditions are set to
show one, two, three, or four sets of fields depending on the answer, but
they only show the last one.
I have another form where this works properly, so I must be doing something
different. The other form is:
http://form.jotform.co/form/32426570249859and in it, if they select
"will" as the document type, then three different
form collapse bars show up.
Why is it different?
Thanks, Bob

Hi Bob,
Please test this form http://www.jotformpro.com/form/32437472953965
For each section you will have to duplicate the textboxes so that they appear according the number (of children) This is what is missing on your form compared to this one http://form.jotform.co/form/32426570249859
Inform us if you have more question.
Thanks.

bleonard8Answered on September 01, 2013 08:25 PMThe clone of the clone that you sent (first one below) still does not
work. When I select three children, then the collapse bars for child's
information, second child, and third child need to appear. Only the last

When I selet 3 in "Case", the Three Children collapse bar have this

I have not modified this form http://form.jotform.co/form/32426570249859 so please disregard it.

bleonard8Answered on September 01, 2013 09:39 PMIt still does not work. The form that I am trying to fix is my clone form:
http://form.jotform.us/form/32437223314142
I am trying to change the way that I do it from having different sections
that each have more questions (as in my original) to having the different
sections appear (as I am trying to do in my clone listed above). What I
want is:
I would have a form collapse that includes the questions about the first
child, one that includes the questions about the second child, one that
includes the questions about the third child, and one that includes the
questions about the fourth child. If I select "Three children" then the
first three will open. That is how I have the conditions set up on the
clone form that I listed above.
Do you do phone support? I feel that I am not explaining this well.

Hi Bob,
Good day! I've modified your form and change radio button to number field for easy assigning of the logic. You can see the output here: http://www.jotformpro.com/form/32441481335954. This is a clone version of your form. Let me know your thoughts.
Thanks

bleonard8Answered on September 02, 2013 07:47 AMI appreciate your hep. I also know that it will work this way, but I will
not always be using numbers. What I want to do works in my Estate Planning
Questionnaire at http://form.jotform.co/form/32426570249859. If I click on
"Documents to be drafted" and then click on "Last Will and Testament" it
will "show" three new form collapse bars: Disposition of Property,
Executors, and Trustees.
That is what I want to do here in my clone of BLLG Family Law Questionnaire
athttp://form.jotform.us/form/32437223314142. If I select two children, it
should open up the one child and two children form collapses. If I select
three children, it should open up the one, two and three children form
collapses.
I will be creating more form with this logic and I need to know what I am
doing wrong in this form that I am doing right in the other one. There has
to be a reason that they are behaving differently. Again, I cannot always
use numbers. I just need for one rule to have multiple actions.
Thank you,
Bob

Hi Bob,
I've clone your form to make some workaround on it. Please take a look on this: http://www.jotformpro.com/form/32445377235961
Here's the rules/conditions you need:
