    Site created in iWeb 09

Run through setup and embed, sent test email to email address ok

Ops... form not found dialogue box appears when snippet on page is double clicked.

Is it because I've not published the site yet ?

    Please advise.

    Hi SteveRedmain,

This error message means that the form does not exist. May we ask for the form name that is having this problem?

Please ensure that your form's status is set to "active" and that the embed code used is accurate (there might be some typographical or spelling errors).

We hope you find these tips helpful. Thank you for using JotForm!

    Hello Steve,

Try using iframe embed codes for your iweb widget.

To get your iframe embed codes

    1.  Go to Setup & Embed tab
    2.  Click Embed Form
    3.  Click iFrame

    4.  Copy the codes provided in the next screen

Let me know if this solution does not help. Also, include as many screenshots of the page as possible. Thank yu for your cooperation.

    Hi Neil,

Sorry for the delay in replying. I have tried your suggestion and I still get the form not recognised dialogue box. However I tried the test notification from My Forms and it worked ! Maybe it will work when the site is loaded ?

If not I will send you the url so that you can view the page.

    Thanks

    Hey Steve,

I apologize but I got a little confused here. Can you specifically tell us how and where this "Form not recognized" appeared? Would it be possible to attach a screenshot of the error?

Also, if you are already done uploading the site, please provide the url of the exact page where the error is showing up. Thank you for your cooperation. We'll await your response.

Hi Neil, I will forward the url when the site is uploaded if there is a problem thanks. Can I ask you a question on another form please ? I created a form last year the url is thomsonfitnessconsultants.com recently the emails have not been received. I for some reason don't have the form stored in my forms can you still check to see where the notification email is pointing ?

    Thanks

    Hi Steve,

The form in the website www.thomsonfitnessconsultants.com points to a form in your account named 'Saunders'. The form was embedded using Source codes that is why it looks different from the one that is in your account. When embedding using Source codes, any changes you make in the form via your account will not reflect to the form embedded in the page.

Instead of using Source, use iframes instead. Anyway, the emails are being sent to stephen.robson20@ntlworld.com and newsphysique@btinternet.com

Be careful when editing that form. Do not delete the existing fields that already has information submitted to it, namely Name and Email.

Let me know if there's anything else you need to ask.
