    How to track responses

Asked by wryan0314 on September 03, 2013 at 04:13 PM

Problem: The user interface I am using to deliver my form requires me to slipt the questions up individualy (separate forms).

Question: Is there a way to track responses from the form besides having them type out their name in a box? I need to know who submitted what answer. Another way for me to solve this problem would be, the ability to group responses from multiple forms together into one. Does this exist?

    Any help is much appreciated.

    Thanks!

    Hi,

Good day! A possible way to do that is to use our Prepopulation Feature/Workaround. Capture the first form data to the second form, second form to the third form, so that it has the same output/entry when submitted.

You can refer to this guide: http://www.jotform.com/help/71-Prepopulating-the-fields-to-your-JotForm-via-URL-parameters.

-Check this thread for example: prepopulate fields in one form with text input from another form

OR, if the forms are embedded, you can use this guide: Send POST Data From JotForm Using PHP in Custom Thank You Page

Let us know if you need any further assistance implementing this functions.

    Thanks

-Would be possible but requires a manual labor to your end. We don't have a function to automatically group separate form entries into one location. Good Spreadsheet can do this.
