Fill in the blanks: error message fades out right away

    Hey Jot team

    We have created a form in which we have used multiple fill in the blanks as per our requirements. But when i am clicking the next button it is not moving to the next page. Why is it so?

    The form is too big so i am giving you the link of the page where i am failing to move next?

    I can't seem to replicate the issue when I tested your link.

    I was able to move to the parent information.

    I think if you enter the wrong credential at any of the input field it is not moving to next field. Due to wrong information, the error is poped-up,but it is showing at the end of the page.

    I was also able to move to the Parent Information page on the form.

    Would you be able to provide us a screenshot of the error that comes up?

    Can you please enter the specific information that i have shared in the screenshot and then try to move to the next page. At my end it is not moving. And showing a error that is even not visible, because it is disappearing in milli-second. As user it is impossible to find what is happening.

    Unfortunately, we cannot view the screenshot you have shared. To post a screenshot, you can follow this guide:-How-to-add-screenshots-images-to-questions-to-the-support-forum

    I have tested a cloned version of your form and was able to replicate the issue however, it seems you have set validation in your Fill in the blank fields.

    Please note that you will not be able to move to the next page when the field input is incorrect.

    I would suggest your remove the limit entry in your fields.

    I was able to replicate the issue. It could be with the character limit you have included with your validation.

    After removing the limit entry, it seems the fields are working.

    But i have found the whole issue and based on my conclusion the problem is not with the entry limit but it is with the validation. If a invalid entry is filledup in the blanks then a very short duration error message are shown which is fadding up in a short duration.I think it's a bug or a design fault. Because the validation error are to be seen with the corresponding blanks .

    I was able to replicate the issue regarding the error message fading out for the fill in the blanks widget.

    I have escalated the issue to our back-end team for further investigation.

    Once updates are available, you will be notified at this support ticket.

    Our developers has advised not to use so much fields in your fill in the blanks as it is hard to check the field validation once there is an error.
