    Hi,

I am trying to track latecomers. When deciding the consequences for them, we want to see how many times they were late before that to decide whether to give these students chance, detentions or suspensions.

In the form, I have details like Name of student, class, date of offence, time of offence (time the student arrived). These details would be captured in a spreadsheet (google sheets). I can sort them such that I can count the number of times the student has been late previously.

Is it possible that when I choose a student's name/class, the form is able to auto-populate the no of times the student was late previously?

    Hi,

Thank you for reaching out to us.

From my understanding, I assume that you are wanting to create a form, that would be pre-populated with data from a spreadsheet. Am I correct?

If that is the case, you can do it conveniently by using the Spreadsheet to Form Widget:

With the widget, you can automatically prepopulate form fields from a spreadsheet by using unique values. Having a unique code to each row of your spreadsheet, you can access specific rows when they match a unique code on the form, which is how the form is able to pull the information from the spreadsheet.

Please let us know if this would not be what you are looking for, and we are happy to help you further!

    Best Regards,
