.is it possible to create a note or a message that could show up to inform users of some information as the JotForm is opened up please? Like something that appears in front of the form?

I don't think that I have the same view as you do. I have tried to search for the Paragraph option but to no avail. I also cannot see 'Form elements'.

The cards option is not suitable as I would like to add an additional 'message' to an existing form upon opening it.

May we know the form you're working on so that we can check?

Can you please share a screenshot of your form builder?

Then you can try adding the paragraph field.

Please give it a try and let us know how it goes.

Please note that I do not want to display a message on the PDF version. The message needs to appear on the online form. I think there might be some confusion here.

I feel like I have been trying for days to achieve something very simple but we are not getting anywhere unfortunately. I would just like to display a message to alert users of something upon opening the online form.

Can you let me know if that is possible please?

Yes, we are editing your online form and not your PDF document.

If you want to show a message before the main form, you can add a Page Break inside of your form. Then on your first page, you can write your "welcome" message and then when your users click on next button they will be able to enter details inside of your form.

    Sample form :https://form.jotform.com/202964610544050

You can then edit your PDF Document to remove the welcome message.
