Form and Clone of Form

If I work on a clone of my form, make edits, then delete the original form, then "save as" my clone as the name of the original I deleted. will this replace the original?

In other words, if I do that, will the newly renamed clone "become" the original and the people I assigned to it will be effectively using it as the original with no loss in functionality as far as things like which PDF it outputs to, where emails based on conditions get sent to, etc.?

    Thank you.

Hi, thank you for contacting JotForm support.

If you clone your form, you make a copy of the original form. Please note that the two forms are different even if the other is the cloned version of the original.

If you make some edits to the cloned form and rename it the same as the original, the changes will only be applied to the cloned form, Thus, it will not update nor replace the original form. Please also note that the recipient emails in the change email conditions and people assigned to the form will not be copied on the clone form. So you need to set up these options again.

I hope this will help. Let us know if you have further questions.
