    Hi there,

Wondering if there are any ways to fix formatting trouble on a pdf generated after entering information into a form. For my Scenario Template form, when information is copied from another document and pasted into form fields, the resulting pdf that is generated has formatting issues (ie: large spaces and line breaks where they shouldn't be).

Any tips to fix this issue would be appreciated! Thank you!

If I'm understanding it correctly, you are referring to how the format of the texts copied to the following fields will appear on the PDF Document of your form.

We would like to apologize for any inconvenience. May we ask that you provide us with an example of the texts that we can copy to see the issue you are referring to on our end, please?

I tested the issue on a cloned version of your form and I didn't notice any issue. The texts appeared exactly how I entered it on the form on the PDF Document.

Thank you, yes please see attached image of pdf which includes several line breaks that are not in the text entered, as well some lines are broken into multiple lines (ie: demonstrate knowledge of BLS guidelines). This seems to be an issue only when the text entered into the form is copied and pasted from another document rather than typed into the form field.

Yes, that is expected as the field interprets not in plain text, but also in HTML format. You can prevent users from pasting in HTML format by change the editor mode into "Plain Text".

Another solution is to have them copy the text and paste it in a notepad first then copy from a notepad into your Jotform field. This way, it will only copy in plain text format.
