Email Notifications: Attachments not sending with email when the form is edited

    I have a form that is not sending attachments with emails after edit.

    The email does get sent...just not with attachments.

    this is critical and was working at one point.

    Please be noted that if the size of the attachment is greater than 5MB then it won't be attached to the emails as there is a size restriction with the email attachments.

    Are you unable to receive the image links in the email notifications?

    The size is definitely less than 5mb. We can get the links. The attachments send fine when the form is initially submitted...but not on edit. We built an approval process into this form, so that on first submission it goes to a few individuals to evaluate and then once approved it is supposed to be ready to be acted on. The attached images are needed to act on them...downloading them would be another step that I really don't want to add.

    so, with a little more testing - I find that the attachments DO send if, when I edit the form and add the attachments again they send. So, it seems like attachments are only being sent when initially uploaded. Not previously uploaded.

    this screenshot shows 2 attachments, but 4 links for uploaded files.

    We are sorry for the inconvenience this has caused.

    I was able to replicate the issue in my cloned form too. The image does not attach with the edit links. It only gets attached to the emails when the form is submitted for the first time.

    Let me escalate the issue to our backend team.

    We will keep you updated on the progress of the ticket.
