Auto Fill form using unique ID

Asked by lozanno on September 05, 2013 at 05:04 PM

I have a form that has some fields repetitive. For example, my form shall serve for people to request a service, but you must use one form per service requested. Then when they need to refill the form and I do not need the fields like "name, address and telephone" to be filled. Is there any way to get this information from another previously filled form?

I'm working in the form yet. I tried in somehow to use the UNIQUE ID to call data from a previous form.

    Makes sense?

    Thanks in advance!

    Hello lozanno,

Unfortunately we do not have an implemented feature that will allow to share data between forms. As UniqueID's work solely on the form they are generated on.

There are workarounds such as this one:

But from my understanding you want to be able to retrieve contact data directly from past user submitted data.

In which case I suggest using a ticketing system or a CRM to organize previous interactions with a user. The CRMs below can be integrated to JotForm.
