Multiple Unique IDs on Single FormAsked by preachason on September 05, 2013 at 06:05 PMWondering if it is possible to create a Unique ID based on a selection...I have customers submitting requests for signage for an event. I would like to have a unique identifier based on their choice of location... Fr instance, a sign request for Hotel A, B or C. Depending on the choice, it would be great to have the ID for that submission to be prefixed differently - A067 vs. B067 or the like.Is this possible, or does anyone have a suggested workaround?
Hello preachason, unfortunately it's not possible to setup multiple UniqueIDs on a single form or to condition the prefix of the UniqueID field. What I would suggest is to concatanate the choice of location with the UniqueID, although you would need to do this manually on an external Spreadsheet such as Microsoft Excel.
I do believe this feature (Multiple Unique IDs) has already been requested to the developers, nevertheless, if you want me to I can go ahead and add another ticket for this feature request. Now I wouldn't be able to provide you an ETA, or if the developers will actually implement this feature.
If you need additional assistance, do let us know. Thank you.
