How to add names and prepopulate form?

Good Afternoon,

Is there an easy way to add in applicants names to our interview form that we created.

The jotform will be sent to each interview and it would great if we could prepopulate this for them.

We have about 45 people we will see each week and we trying to find out what the best and easiest solution will be?

If you are having the list in an Excel spreadsheet, you may consider using Spreadsheet to Form widget to populate the fields by using a unique field such as email address, phone number or any ID. Please see the guide below for more information.

I was able to build a mock excel spreadsheet and upload this to my form, however, all I needis just have candidates names to be populated.
When I uploaded this, I did get a column for candidate with a column a and b, but not able to truly capture the name of the applicant.
I was unable to take a screenshot of what shows up when I try to get the form to talk to the widget.
Any idea what I am not doing to capture what I need for our form?

Hello Mary,

This usually happens when the column names don't match with the Field Labels on your form. Can you verify if the column for the applicant's name matches the Field Label on your form? Is it supposed to appear on the "Candidate Name" field?

However, I assumed that you are referring to this form, 202653607426050, correct? I can see that you have added the Spreadsheet widget, but I believe my colleague recommends using the Spreadsheet To Form widget.

The Spreadsheet widget will only display a plain spreadsheet that its function is similar to excel. But the Spreadsheet to Form widget can meet your requirements to populate the field on your form as advised by my colleague: -how-to-use-the-spreadsheet-to-form-widget
