Suggestions on how to set it up so the the system understands that they are the specific end-user and how can it send the semi-complete form to them?

You must be referring to the Continue Form Later feature of the form.

In the Form Settings, it is still possible to customize the Email that send the continue link to the end-user.

When user saved the semi-completed form, they will get an email link of the saved form which they can use to continue the form later on.

I see the spot where we can customize the email, but not the recipient's email.

if john doe is completing the form from his computer/phone, and clicks save, will he get the email with the incomplete form? I tested it on my computer and I got the email, but I am the creator of the form and owner of the jotform account, so I assumed that was why I received it.

    Hi, @9182420. How are you?

Actually, you do not need to set up the recipient's email. JotForm will save the session inside of your client's account. They will receive an email and also reminders from us.

I hope this helps you. If you need any further assistance, please let us know.

    Have a wonderful day!😀🙌
