Required email field is being submitted

    Dear sir, madam,

    We have a form in our account that we use for support:

    One of the fields is required: e-mail. But we received two filled in forms without an email (see inbox). The problem is now that we cannot contact them to help them out.

    Can you see where it goes wrong?

    Thank you for contacting Support.

    I have cloned and tested your form. The email required field doesn't allow the form to be submitted when left blank.

    May we know if the form you're having issues with is embedded on a website? If the form is embedded, can you share the link to the website, please? Also, may we ask permission to make test submissions directly to your form?

    Dear Sam,

    Thank you for helping us out.

    You are right, that is why I was supprised that at least two people filled in the form without their e-mailadress.

    We use the form in our app. In our menu, we have a support section. When they click at it the form appers. So, I don't have a link for you.

    Hereby, you have our permission the make test submissions directly to our form.

    I have sent a test submission to your form.

    I wasn't able to submit when I left the email address blank.

    I added my email address and it showed up on your submissions page.

    May we ask for the submissions ID that showed no email?

    Dear Sam,

    Thank you for digging into this, but I already see what happend...

    This person chose for another check box where you don't have to fill in the e-mailadress. The answer is written down under 'Antwoord'. But this person chose to send it anyway ('versturen').

    In other words: thank you for your help. The problem is solved!
