Export/Import Rules and Conditions

I have a form without a heap of different conditions, and then therefore, since you have no option for variables in email addresses or variables inside images, we have to create a rule for each of those too.

Is it possible to export the rulese to a xls or similar, so they can be duplicated/cloned/edited/deleted etc, and then re-imported into the same or other forms?

This is a huge job to sit and click individually on each rule for 25 conditions each.

    Thanks

Unfortunately, it is not possible to export conditional logic. However, when you clone the form, the conditions are also copied, but you will need to update the email to email conditions.

Well put it down as a very important suggestion, as editing rules in mass is extremely time consuming and cumbersome using the UI.

What you want can actually be done by assigning the email addresses as Calculation Values for your Choose your Centre field.

    How-to-Assign-Calculation-Value

Then add a hidden email address field and create a condition that will copy the value from your Choose your Centre field to the new hidden email address field.

    How-to-pass-field-value-to-another-field?

Once done, you can just set your Notification 2's recipient to that new hidden email address field.

Yes we can set that, thanks, although we were using that to put a "Centre Code" in for those rather than their full name, but as far as copying forms go, how would i create a new form from a pdf so it puts all the questions in , and then copy the questions/rules from another form?

It seems like JotForm is avoiding saying its missing this feature, and giving ways to work around it? I would like to create multiple forms from different pdfs, but each of them will have the same "choose your centre" dropdown, as well as 21 different logos, which is based on that dropdown, so i need to create so many rules. If i clone a form, its going to use the old forms pdf/questions/layout, and if i create a new form from a pdf, then i dont get those rules.

I'm not seeing a way to achieve what i want using your current system.

    Hi there,

    Thank you for your message.

The Conditional Logic doesn't have export/import feature I'm afraid.

Let me forward this to our backend team as feature request. It would be a nice feature to have.
