How to set a field as required?

Is there a condition or setting that will control submissions when one of four options are not selected? we are using our form for seating availability and i noticed someone submitted a form with only name and email and no date selection>

To my understanding, what you're after is setting that field to required, so that respondents can not submit the form or go to the page after unless they fill out that required field.
