Currently the JF -> Drive integration forces all submissions into it's own sub-folder. In order to avoid having a folder for each submission, the only workaround is to use a static sub-folder name (i.e., "Submissions" instead of "{sender_name}") so that all PDF submissions go into the "Submissions" folder.
This problem was described and escalated here: https://www.jotform.com/answers/1989377-Google-Drive-Integration-Ability-to-remove-the-sub-folder
The problem is that if you use a static name, each PDF is then named "Submissions".
We need to be able to use a static sub-folder but still customize the name of the PDF.
Ideally, you can do the integration, which would be
Drive Root / Submissions / {sender_name}.pdf
We know that you can then move the Submissions folder out of the root if you choose without any problems.
Thanks!

Please note that creating a static sub-folder name will not work as a workaround since the integration's purpose is only to create a folder and not update it.
I have forwarded your concern as a feature request instead. Please note that we cannot guarantee if this will be granted, nonetheless, rest assured that you will be notified here once we get any update.

Vanessa, thanks for creating the feature request.
Reading the answers from your team here: https://www.jotform.com/answers/1989377-Google-Drive-Integration-Ability-to-remove-the-sub-folder
Their answers contradict what you are saying - they explained that you can name the subfolder without using anything dynamic and that all submissions would go into that folder. In any case, it doesn't solve the PDF naming problem.

Hello - Apologies for the confusion.
While it's possible to name the folder where your submissions will go, it still isn't possible to have them only in one folder. Each submission will create subfolder under the folder you named when you integrate your form.
I see my colleauge has forwarded this ticket to our developers as a Feature Request. Once we receive feedback from our developers, we'll inform you here right away.

Got it. Perhaps there was some confusion about which folder could be static. I've tested and understand how it works now. Standing by for the new developments. Thanks, JF team.
