Collecting Credit Card Information For Quickbooks Processing

I have my customer recurring payments set up through Quickbooks Payments. When customer debit/credit cards expire or when they receive a new credit card, I have had a Jotform form on our secure website so customers can update their payment information. This has worked until recently. I have since learned that it is against Jotform TOS to collect credit card information using their forms so I have deleted these collection fields on my form.

So, is there a PCI compliant way to collect credit card information using Jotform so I can collect the card number and expiration date and then enter that credit card information into my Quickbooks program to update their recurring payment information in Quickbooks?

Thanks in advance for the information.

Hello Mike - Thanks for reaching out.

You are right. Collecting Credit Card details in plain texts does violate our Terms of Use. I'm afraid there isn't a PCI compliant way to do it. What's only possible through our platform is having Payment Authorization wherein you can charge your customers at a later time but still won't be able to see their card information.
