Hello Blake! No, it is not a requirement. But the form owner has this choice. Form owners can set their form 'private' which would require their users to login/create account first to be able to fill the form or they can keep their form access 'public' and let anyone with the form link fill/submit it.

Hi Patrick, thanks for the quick reply as well as the information, much appreciated. I tried unsuccessfully to submit a question and was receiving a submission error, I then used Edge and tried again and it worked. Despite the error, the submissions obviously went through. I wouldn’t submit the same question multiple times :)…again, it was failing with a submission error

Hi Patrick, no worries, all is good, I was just letting you know why I submitted the same question three times, the first two attempts, from Chrome, resulted in the error below.

I tried Edge and it submitted on the first try, again all good :)
