Hi,
I've built a form and shared with a few people to try it out before I deploy further. However, every form submission that is made seems to be recorded as 2 submissions. Likewise, I will get 2 notifications that the same form has been submitted and the person who submitted will also receive 2 emails indicating that they have submitted the form.
Also, the form submission count records DOUBLE the number of form submissions. Upon inspection of the submissions, I see a duplicate entry for every submitted form. Please clarify why this is happening. Thanks!

Hi Sabnani,
Thank you for contacting Support.
I have cloned and tested your form and wasn't able to replicate the issue.
I only receive 1 submission.
Upon checking, you have also set Unique submissions settings on your form.
Can you please tell us if the form is embedded or if you are using it from the direct URL?
Duplicate submissions can also happen if the person has filled out the form from a browser and hasn't closed the tabs properly. In this case, the browser will force a refresh when they open the browser again, which triggers a second submission.
You can also use an external thank you page instead of the default thank you page. So when the user opens the browser again, it will load your external thank you page and this will not trigger a submission.

May we submit a test submission to your form?
We will wait for your response.

Sam,
My form is not embedded on any website. I was testing it out via the direct URL. The same error occurs also when I submitted the form in 'Kiosk Mode' on my mobile device. If what you say is due to the browser, then this duplication shouldn't occur in 'Kiosk Mode'.
Please go ahead and submit a test submission to my form and let me know the solution. Thanks!

Hello,
I have sent two test submissions to your form. They both did not create duplicates, however, here is what I received upon submitting:
So it looks like the unique submission check works, but the problem is still here. I did not even have time to see the Thank You page.
Have you tried redirecting the user to an external Thank You page and see if the issue persists?
We will gladly take all the appropriate measures to solve your problem. We will escalate this thread to L2 if needed.
Thank you!

Hi. I do not want to redirect the user to an external Thank You page. That would defeat the purpose of using the Jotform platform if I still have to use a workaround like that! Can you please suggest a viable solution, please? I also rather not have to use Captcha in my form.
We tried the test again from another browser and even though we were careful to quit the browser straightaway, we still end up with 2 submissions per form. Please let me know a proper, simple resolution to this. Thanks!

So, you're saying when you test the for yourself, you end up receiving two submissions even when not reloading the thank-you page?
Can you please authorize us to test-submit your form so we can further investigate?
We're patiently waiting for your response.

I've gone ahead and tested your form. Only one submission has been received, which can be accessed via the link below.
