I embedded a jotform at the bottom of my website. It has a single field for customers to enter their email address if they want to join our mailing list. I selected "email" for the Validation option; however users are still able to submit a blank entry without getting an error message. I know I can select the Required field option, but I am trying to avoid this because I don't want to add the asterisk symbol. I don't like how the asterisk looks and I think it is unnecesary since this is a single field form. Is there any way to disallow blank submissions/make the field required without adding the asterisk symbol?

Oh ok I just changed the asterisk color to white so it doesn't show

I can see that your form is working well now. May I also suggest to use iframe embed code. This helps prevents possible conflicts between the form script and your existing website scripts which results to validation malfunction. How to get your iFrame Embed Code.
Hope this helps. Regards!
