Hello, I have a registration form where I need to limit the number of sign-ups (and payment) to 15 people but would still like to collect names of those interested in attending the event for the 16th person and so on.  Question: 1. how do I limit the number of sign-ups and payment to 15?  2. How can I still collect names/info but block the ability for them to pay after "registration is closed"?

    Thank you,

    Hi Susan,

Unfortunately, that is not possible with one single form. We don't have an option to disable payment field if a number or the limit of submission is reached. I would suggest cloning the form and remove the payment field in the clone version. After the original form reaches 15 successful payments, change it to the clone version.

You can limit the number of submissions by following this guide: How to Limit Submissions in a Form.

Thank you for your quick reply!  What you said makes sense.  So, what if I place a message in the Warning Message field that says something like what I have below - then would the message below appear when they try to sign-up?

"Thank you for your interest.  The excursion is currently full, but we encourage you to join the wait-list as people often drop out at the last minute.  In addition, if there is enough demand, a second excursion might be added.  Please send an e-mail to put your name on the wait list and/or to be considered for any additional excursions."

    Thanks again!

    Hello Susan,

Unfortunately, that will not help you. It would only display the warning text if the submission limits are reached. It won't allow you to collect the names of the user as the form will be disabled.

Here is the output of the form if the submission limit is reached:

You should follow Welvin's suggestion as that is the best possible solution of your requirement..

    Thank you!
