Tables: add a dropdown into the column and ability to connect this dropdown into the form field.

    Hi

The Tables feature is a great addition but lacks 2 things; when will we be able to enter data, such as dropdown box data selections, that are then visible in the form? There also appears to be no way to link data from one table to another in the same form. If you could do this, it would mean being able to drop Airtable and just use JotForm. Still, this is a great step forward. Thanks.

    Regards,

    Shaun

I'm not sure if I understood your questions correctly. Do you want to add new dropdown options in the column that is connected to the form by default? Or do you want to have an option to add a new "Dropdown" column to the table and connect it to the form? A new Dropdown column cannot be added currently, but we can raise your request to our developers.

Also, please note that it is not possible to connect any new columns to the form.

You can connect the tables by adding a new column, selecting the Connections tab, and choosing the Connect a table option.

    Hi

Thanks for the quick response. Both actually. New data entries in the table would hopefully be reflected in the form drop-down box options. If you could put forward this to the developers, it would be appreciated.

Thanks for confirming. I have forwarded your request to our dev team so they can add it to their potential features list. Although I can't promise or provide an ETA, we'll let you know here in case this feature gets added.
