I connected a form in JotForm Tables but the Table is not populating new entries

Just trying out this new Jotform Tables, loving the idea for sure. A little difficult as there aren't as many options, however; I've created my table and connected some of those fields but when that form is filled out and submitted, the table is not populating and is there a way to not show the linked forms and just the table. I am going to share this with some employees but only want them to have access to the table.

    Thank you for your feedback.

What options are you looking by the way? We could raise a request ticket if that option isn't available yet.

I think you are referring to the Connection columns. This feature in the Tables page does not automatically fetch and populate the entries from the connected form or table. It will simply link the form/table so that you can manually select entries from the connection.

What you should do is to create a Blank Table (https://www.jotform.com/mytables/).

    https://www.jotform.com/help/1038-how-to-create-a-blank-table-in-jotform-tables

Next, fetch the entries from your other forms by Adding a new Tab > Connect to Form option.

    https://www.jotform.com/help/1002-how-to-get-data-from-other-forms-in-jotform-tables

You can filter what fields/columns to display when fetching data from other forms.

    Lastly, share the table.

Kindly try that and let us know if you have any questions.

    Thanks

I got it. Thank you. So all of the Form submissions are now in the table view no longer in the previous submissions view? Also how do I delete a tab in my Tables? I started a form, but then did the above, which created a new table but now I can't delete the first tab.

Yes, all submissions for your forms are in table view.

To delete a tab, please refer to my screencast below for reference.

You can always create another tab if you want to customize or sort your submissions page.

haha! Sorry, that made me look like an idiot. I was referring to the first tab. Is there any way to then transfer the data from the second tab to that one, so it's not a blank tab?

    Hi,

I am sorry I am not sure if understand correctly, the first tab is usually filled with the submission data from your form.

Between which two tabs would you like to transfer the data?

    Looking forward to your reply.

Which table are you currently working on? We'll check.

If it's a table that is connected to a form or a table created through the My Tables page (https://www.jotform.com/mytables/), you cannot delete it. If it's a new tab added to an existing table, you should be able to delete it.
