If you import a fillable PDF form (Or even a normal PDF) can you chnage a setting so that when the completed form is emailed that the receiving user can still edit the PDF as a fiilable form? e.g. all the fields are still fillable when opening them in Adobe.

    Thanks in advance

You can edit the form and the Original PDF will also be updated. Then you may download the original pdf that is an updated one.

Let us know if you have further questions.

    Thanks.

I want the recipient of the PDF to be able to edit the PDF in Adobe (They would not be a Jotform user)

I suppose I'm asking can the pdf remain editable after it is sent. The original form is a fillable PDF.

Unfortunately, the original PDF that the user has downloaded is not editable by default.

However, if you open the PDF in the Adobe Acrobat editor then you may be able to edit it:

Do you have a paid adobe account? You may try editing the downloaded PDF.

Let us know if you have further questions.

    Thanks.

Its a fillable PDF form that you can type into, and I wanted it to remain fillable after it was imported.

All good though you've answered my question, I don't think we can.
