Jotform Tables: Ability to get values from a connection based on a unique identifier

    Hi,

I'm trying to create a link between two of my tables, a scholarship form and a recommendation letter upload that is tied to that scholarship form. The goal is to have a student submit a scholarship application through this form: https://www.jotform.com/IKIC1988/21-22-founders-scholarship

and a recommender to subsequently upload a recommendation for that student through this form:

    https://www.jotform.com/IKIC1988/founders-rec-letters.

I want to add a new column, Rec Letters, to the scholarship application table (https://www.jotform.com/tables/202994753624060) that essentially does the following:

    • Does an automatic lookup on the recommendation letters table (https://www.jotform.com/tables/203014231387142) based on the Columbus City Schools ID (unique identifier) and adds any and all documents under the "Please upload your recommendation letter" column that matches that unique ID to the new column, "Rec Letters", on the scholarship application table. The goal is to include the student's recommendation letters all on one table.

Can you guide me through creating this logic?

    Thanks! :)

Please allow me some time to take a look at this. We will get back to you.

    Thanks.

Unfortunately, it is not possible to create a connection based on any field on the second form and get the values from the second form.

Once you create a connection column then you can click on each cell to add the data.

Let me open a feature request to gte the values based on a specific field in the connection column.

    Thanks.
