Product List: Request to have an option to add up to 3 decimal places in the Tax Rate

I am using the Product List element and am interested in calculating accurate tax on products we sell. It appears the Tax Rate field only allows you to calculate to the hundreds place (i.e. 8.37% - Our locale's tax rate is calculated to the thousandths place 8.375%) - Is it possible to remove the character limitation on this field? Thank you. Otherwise we will not be able to use this for online payment.

As checked, there are similar requests as yours which still on OPEN status.

I elevated this ticket as a feature request to our developers as well. We can't give you any timeframe but we'll keep you informed on this same ticket once this gets implemented in the future.

For now, if it's imperative to get this tax computation working now, my recommendation is for you to manually do the calculation. 

1. You will build your products and quantities outside the payment field using regular MULTIPLE CHOICE and DROPDOWN fields.

2. Assign CALCULATION VALUES to the fields you just added.

3. Add a FORM CALCULATION WIDGET to tally the total, including the 8.375% tax.

4. And finally, pass that calculation to your payment field.
