How can I validate the values in a field?

    Hi there,

my application uses Knack and Integromat, I am here for the offline feature. I am building a form that can be used on a field visit. A bunch of fields should be validated against a lower and upper limit, either on submission, but better as the screen with the field is left. I need this to avoid people entering data with typos in it.

Is there a way to do this in Jotform? When I search the FAQ for validation, it usually only mentions email addresses.

    Many thanks!

Currently, the character limit property of the Short Text Entry field has the option to set the max number of char limits.

If you need to use the Short Text Entry field, the alternative you can use is the Input Masking option.

The Long Text Entry field does have the min/max character limit option. So you may consider using it.

The number field has also the option to set min and max characters.

I was more looking for requiring a value to be specifically between two
values. Here is the equivalent setting in Knack:
