if we go into our JotForm's dashboard and invite a user to complete the form they get an email from JotForm email address and the person has to log-in or create an account with JotForm to complete the form...

    Is all this correct?

    Hi,

That is correct. Invited users via the "Invite By Email" are required to create an account.

The feature is actually for adding assignees to your form. This feature is useful if someone needs to fill out your forms regularly, such as people who report you.

The JotForm account is required to monitor the form responses of, or entries collected by, an assignee.

If you only need to share your form via email, you can simply email the form's URL. Don't forget to set your form to Public if you do.

Regarding your concern about the sender email, kindly check my response on your original post.
