upload space is confusing. how do i know what is consuming the space. if the total submissions exceed 500 and the old ones fall off will that free up upload space

The 'Upload Space' is consumed by files uploaded by the form respondents. You can delete submission entries with files, or just files to free up space.

The 'Submission Storage' refers to the stored submission entries. If you exceed this limit, the oldest submissions will be replaced with the newest.

I deleted several old orders from previous form but the upload space has not changed. on Multiproduct order form there are only 11 files I see. Are you sure there is not something else?

Please check the Trash folders (e.g. of the forms 'Mini Orders Only', 'Foil Orders Only'). There are some entries with file uploads.

This is possible to use the 'Empty Trash Now' option to delete the data forever.

You still have forms in the Archive section with trashed submission records. Please check this too.

I still have the problem that Upload space has not reduced. I have done everything i have been instructed to do. If someone would take the time to actually look at it it would help.

    Before I restore deleted forms

Look and really understand the problem before you respond.

    Hi Chris,

I've checked your account and I still see some submissions in the trash folder.

Currently, the upload space being used is 65.62 MB out of 100 MB.

I've refreshed your upload space counter and your form cache as well. This is the total space being consumed by your submissions for now.

Let us know if you have any questions or concerns.

    Thanks.

I just purged them all and the number did not change. So another example of a suggestion without really checking things out first.

My last comment was really know what you are doing before you make suggestions.

I keep deleting things I dont want to delete at YOUR direction and I loose more data and nothing works.

Know what is causing the issue before you recommend again.

You are causing me data issues.

I just checked that the account's upload space counter went down to only 44.70MB right now.

I can still see that there were submissions that has uploaded files in it for this form: Multi Product Order Form

You may need top purge these trashed entries as well.

This has been easily the most frustrating and convoluted process I have encountered in JotForm. I am a huge fan and have written a review that was very favourable about JotForm.

I highly suggest that JotForm develop something that would simply display the records that make up upload space showing the size of each. That display could then have a select box for each file that would say DELETE FOREVER.

Also where can I see this

I thought my last comment made that very clear.

The more management is aware of customer frustration usually the better. You have a great product. Hate to see that overshadowed by easily solvable issues.
