Substring widget not working

Hi, team I have a substring widget installed in my find a soulroom form that is not working.

I'm not sure which field are you trying to extract the strings from:

But the widget only works with single liner fields such as SHORT TEXT ENTRY field. It won't work for other field types especially for multi-liner/box fields.

If you could specify which of the fields you want to extract the strings from, we'll try it on our end and provide possible solutions.

I am trying to capture get page URL as the link will have the email id of the referrer and I need the string. to get that.

Okay, so looking on the form, the field ID you used seems incorrect:

The field ID is not available when you're on CARD FORM, so only the unique name is shown here:

So in order to view the field ID, switch to CLASSIC LAYOUT, copy the field id there, and revert to CARD FORM:

So it should be #input_68.
