Calculated fields based on other string fields

I would like to enter a series of Yes/No questions and wanted to know if it is possible to create a calculated field that will display Access Granted or Access Denied based on the answers provided by users.

Are we also able to dynamically hide or show fields based on previous answers?

    Hi @Alberto_Silva,

Thank you for reaching out to JotForm support. For the purpose of your form use, you could use 'Input Table Field' to get the value based on the choice user made, and use 'Form Calculation' to determine whether an Access can be granted or not.

To use 'Input Table Field', please add Input Table and assign the value to each cells. Once you configured it, add 'Form Calculation widget' to perform a calculation. Here's an article on "How to Perform Form Calculation in the Input Table Field?". https://www.jotform.com/help/343-how-to-perform-form-calculation-in-the-input-table-field?

You can then add conditional logic and you can set up 'SHOW' and 'HIDE' conditions based on the user choice from Form Calculation field. For more information on 'Smart Forms: Conditional Logic for Online Forms', please visit this following link. https://www.jotform.com/help/57-smart-forms:-conditional-logic-for-online-forms

And yes, you can dynamically 'SHOW' and 'HIDE' each fields using conditional logic. Please refer to article above for more information on conditional logic.

If you have any other questions or require further assistance, please reach out to JotForm support again.

    Cheers,

    Yuta
