    Thank you Jonathan for your reply, this has worked, the text is now white in Safari.

    The only problem now is that when the form tool is highlighted the text disappears because the background colour is white.

    Can you tell me how to turn the text from white to black when the form tool is highlighted.

    As a reminder please see my question below:

    Hi,

    I have a 'File Upload' form tool on my form.

    The 'no file selected' text beside the button is black, which does not show up very well on the blue background.

    Is there anyway of making the 'no file selected' text white and then change to black when highlighted.

    Many thanks and kind regards.

    Hi Neale,

    Please try injecting CSS code like this to your form

    .form-upload {

        color: #FFFFFF !important;

    }

    Use this guide on How-to-Inject-Custom-CSS-Codes

    I tested it on my end, and it works on Safari browser also

    Many thanks and kind regards,

    Neale

    Hi Neale,

    Use the following CSS to make it black when an upload field is active or on error state.

    .form-line-active .form-upload {color: #000 !important;}

    .form-line-error .form-upload {color: #000 !important;}

    Use the same guide, just inject this to your form.

    Hope this helps.

    Is there a way to change the words? I have a persistent problem with my form and when they see that text it is because the button is not loading properly. That means that I need them to refresh their browser so that text disappears. I want to change that text from "no file selected" to "Please Refresh Your Browser".

    Is that possible?

    Unfortunately, it's unlikely that that text can be changed. It actually varies according to which browser the form is being viewed in. For instance, in Chrome it states No file chosen:

    The issue is not specific to JotForm. Upload fields are displayed on the internet in that manner.

    As to the button not loading properly, try switching its mode to multi-upload and let us know if that helps. To switch to that mode, click the field and then click the Allow Multiple button at the top of the form builder:

    Do continue to keep us updated.

    Thanks

    I've only just realized that this is a pretty old thread and that you're not the user who opened it! We prefer to deal with each user in their own thread, so as to better focus on their specific issue. As such, if you need to discuss this further, please open another thread and it will be addressed in due course.

    Thanks

    Oh. Bummer. It is set to multiple uploads so no that does not help. I have tried for months to get this to work properly and nothing works. I have even tried a javascript no conflict.

    @bigpicturecomp

    Looks like we posted our last replies simultaneously. Anyway, I've moved the discussion to another thread (http://www.jotform.com/answers/532335) where it will be dealt with.

    Thanks
