Is it possible to create a print condition

Asked by mlwright on September 13, 2013 at 12:05 PM

My form is emaild to field technicians.  I would like for the form to automatically print (in pdf format would be even better) when they complete the form and submit it back.

Is this possible?  I know i can create a rule in outlook but be dont use it.  Mostly gmail and you can not create a print filter in gmail.  So i was hoping to use  a form condition.

    Thanks

    Hi,

No, that's not possible with JotForm. You may try email conditions instead. Once the user completed the form, send a copy of the PDF submissions to a specified email so they could print it manually. I am not sure if this relates to the function you need, you may want to give it a try.

    Thanks!

Ok.  Kinda figured that.   I will figure out a alternative.  How do I submit the form as a pdf?

When someone fills in your form and submits it one way that you can actually share this is via the {pdf-link} in an email notification to generate that. This will allow them to download a copy of the submission as a pdf straight through the confirmation notice. You would have to set this up via an Autoresponder.

An alternate way to let your users view this and choose is found here: https://www.jotform.com/help/199-How-to-Share-Form-s-Submissions-Page if the Submissions Page is made public that is.

    Ok

Im already doing that.  I was hoping to eliminate a step by having it submitted as a pdf then using 3rd party to print it.

    Thanks

It is possible to integrate the form with Box.Net, Dropbox or Google Drive, so that the form will automatically submit PDFs to the integrated service.

However, it sounds like that you you will also need some software that will listen to the changes on your Box/Dropbox/GoogleDrive and print received PDFs.
