Improve Payment tools or is it possible to do this?

Asked by mujkalisekluna on September 13, 2013 at 03:31 PM

    Hello,

    I have severall question and

    1) How can I translate in Payment tools items: "Total" / "Free" / "Subs-total"?

    2) We use Google Docs Spreadsheet, but if we use in our form Payment tools, then all data are paste to one cell. It is very unhappy. We need only clean data to separate cells, like price, color, size, name of product.

But if we do it without Payment tools, we loose calculation tool, which is crucial.

    Do you know any solution?

    3) We sell only one product but with 6 variant (3 color and 2 sizes). If customer buy only 1 piece, it will be OK. But we have to duplicate products and show them at form, so we have to have 6 products. Then form is quite long. Much better will be, if customer can add another row, if he want another variant. Is it possible?

Hello mujkalisekluna, I would be happy to help answer your questions...

    1) How can I translate in Payment tools items: "Total" / "Free" / "Subs-total"?

Do you mean that you want to relabel them something else or are you trying to " translate " it into another language? Can you please clarify about this question some more.

    2) We use Google Docs Spreadsheet, but if we use in our form Payment tools, then all data are paste to one cell. It is very unhappy. Google Spreadsheets is currently configured through our System to Accept All of the Data at once so that is why this is happening. For awhile we had it separated into separate columns but many people were complaining about it so we created a combined column for it to generate a more clean and optimized field so that is why this is like that. If you only want to see certain data on something similar in a spreadsheet format it might work better for you to use an Excel Report since doing it this way you can create different spreadsheets to view where you can specify which data you want to see on the sheet itself.

As for the calculation though we don't actually have this ability on our forms yet other then in the Payment Tool itself. However, there is a workaround provided by one of my colleagues as mentioned here http://www.jotform.com/answers/202265-Calculate-a-grand-total-on-my-dropdown-form-fields for this which you can refer to with using some dropdown boxes and a textbox to create it.

You can actually do this with some conditional logic and a dropdown or radio button on the form. This way you can create a simple question asking if the customer wants to " Add Another " in example or even just specify How Many which could then trigger this. An advanced version of this would Show/Hide it depending on the selection. If you are using it with the Payment Tool though then this will be a little bit more tricky since it is limited slightly with options for that.

    Hi Oldrich,

How about embedding your form using our source codes? In source codes, you can translate the aforementioned labels. This is the guide: How to Get Form Source Codes

You can follow this guide for adding additional payment options: http://www.jotform.com/help/120-How-to-set-up-paypal-along-with-other-payment-options. If you need any further assistance about this guide, please let us know by opening a separate thread.

    Thanks
