I have a drop down menu question which asks "Are you eligible to work in the U.S." and the drop down menu answer is either "Yes" or "No". If someone selects "Yes", I do not need any conditions. But if someone selects "No", is it possible for a new box to appear on the form where someone can provide more details?

That's possible with Hide/Show Condition.

hello, i've already tried that before but it doesnt seem to work. it provides an option based on what the person answers and it allows a redirect to an existing field in the form but it doesnt allow a new text box to be applied to the form. is that possible?

Sorry, did you mean, if user selects "no", it will create a new form fields? If yes, that's not possible. You should define/create all the fields in the form builder before you can use it in conditions. Our conditions doesn't have the ability to create new fields, they should be created first before they can be triggered in a condition. Sorry if I missed your question.
