    Embedded forms won't show

Asked by holmster on September 17, 2013 at 02:13 PM

    Hi,

I have a multiple payment form set up. We are encountering an issue where when the link is clicked ("tickets" on the web page), the main form loads, but choosing one of the radio buttons will not pull up the embedded forms.

I double checked the two forms were embedded correctly, and I also double checked my conditions, but they are all working correctly. If I view the main form on JotForm's site, it works correctly. It is only through the link that it doesn't work.

    Thank you for contacting us.

I have not found the tickets link, but I think that the issue is related to the javascript conflicts. The form code might conflict with other scripts on the page.

Can you create some test page where we can reproduce the issue?

Unfortunately, I don't have access to our web pages, I just give our webmaster the links to our JotForm and they put them up.

The ticket link is right inthe middle of the paragraph on the 5th line.

The Form was working fine up until about an hour ago, and we have had it up for a couple of months. The only thing I have noticed is that the link to the form on the website goes to:

    https://secure.jotform.us/form/23114629850149

However, if I pull up the form directly through JotForm, the url is:

    http://jotform.us/form/23114629850149

We haven't made any changes to te form or the webpage, so I am not sure why the two urls are different.

I am sorry, I thought that you were referring to some form that is embedded to your web page.

I have found the tickets link and I can see the issue now.

https://secure.jotform.us/form/23114629850149 - this is an SSL encrypted form link.

http://form.jotform.us/form/23114629850149 - this is a standard form link.

The issue is related to the fact that SSL form is blocking embedded non-ssl content.

In order to solve this, you can:

    - use standard link to your form on the web page.

    or

    - use SSL embed codes for your embedded forms.

If something is not clear, please let us know. We will be happy to help.

Is that the way the embed SSL codes should look for the embedded forms? I'll give it a try and see how it goes.

The only thing I am still curious about is why it would would work and then stop working when I didn't change any of the ssl settings on the forms. I knowwithout getting into the web page it would be hard to tell, but do you have any ideas on why it suddenly stopped working when we didn't adjust anything?

    Hello,

It is a very strange ocurrence indeed. It would be good to know if it was viewable properly from diffeent browsers/computers. unless the webmaster made a change not directly to the embed script, but maybe something else entirely which may have caused the bug to appear. It could very well be numerous points of failure.

Kindly let us know if you need additional assitance. Thank you.
