    Hover text blocks a part of the field

    Asked by IanDarley on September 23, 2013 at 02:55 PM

    Hi

    I love Jot form

    however have come across a blip, I have created a sliding scale 1-10  for a couple of questions, i have also added a floating text box to give info on filling out that question

    problem - the text box covers the option to choose any thing from 7-10 as you can see by the attached url

    is there a way to move the positin of the text box? or any other way out of this blip?

    Many thanks

    Ian

    Hi Ian,

    It's nice to know you love our product :)

    There's a solution for the issue you mentioned. Please inject the following CSS:

    .form-description {
    right: -100px;
    }

    If you need further assistance, we'd be happy to help.

    Cheers

    Incidentally, if you only wanted the hover texts associated with the sliding scales to be affected, change the rule to

    #id_26 .form-description,
    #id_27 .form-description,
    #id_28 .form-description,
    #id_29 .form-description {
    right: -100px;
    }

    Hi Ian,

    The link in my first response (How to Inject Custom CSS Codes) explains how to use the Inject CSS feature. Depending on if you wish to reposition the hover texts for all of the form's fields or just the sliding scales, you would copy either the code in my first or second reply and paste it into the Inject Custom CSS section of the Preferences.

    Please let us know if you need further help.

    Thanks
